ABOUT US
Biblical Christian Church (Barrio la Perla, Mar del Plata)
In 1916 Rosalía Anfuso de Mingrino received a letter from her brother Francisco, who lived in Gary, Indiana (USA), in which he told her that he had received Jesus Christ, and also about great wonders that God had done with him. and in hundreds of people. Rosalía replied that if he had such a great God, please send him a piece because he was going through very difficult times. God heard that prayer, and with a visit from Francis the whole family accepted the Lord Jesus.
On November 10, in a pond prepared in the same house, the first six people obeyed the baptism in water: Rosalía de Mingrino and her children Cayetano, Ángel, Concepción and José. The first baptized in the Holy Spirit were: Concepción, Ángel and José.
In July 1920, Ángel Mingrino was constituted for the Ministry to El Plumerillo, Mendoza; Pablo Mingrino for the work in Ranchos, Province of Buenos Aires and Cayetano Mingrino for the work on Av. Nacional 5078, Capital. Who left office in 1926 and Pablo Mingrino was constituted in his place.
The church continued to grow and because of this, on January 9, 1965, Miguel A. Petrecca, who had been collaborating intensely with Pastor Pablo Mingrino, was confirmed as Pastor.
On April 25, 1970, at a meeting held at Pje. Juan Pablo López 3670, Capital, chaired by Pastors Pablo Mingrino and Miguel Petrecca, resolved to form the Biblical Christian Church, renting its first premises at 4553 Navarro Street, Capital, which was inaugurated on May 23, 1970. Then it was bought and the temple of Bermúdez 3071, Capital was built, which was inaugurated on March 4, 1974.
The church continued to grow and spread in various parts of the country.
We are part of the ICB of the city of Mar del Plata, in the La Perla neighborhood.
